Are you a passionate and committed social worker ready to make a meaningful impact? Join Blackpool’s Assessment & Support Team, where you’ll be part of a service that is continuously improving, financially invested, and focused on achieving the best outcomes for children and families.

Why Blackpool?

Following our most recent Ofsted focused visit (October 2025), inspectors recognised that we have:

A strong and stable leadership team with a clear vision for vulnerable children

A positive, supportive working culture, where staff feel valued and proud of their work

High-quality assessments that are timely, thorough, and child-focused

A service that is responsive to demand and committed to continuous improvement

We are proud of the progress we have made—and we know there is more to do. That’s why we are investing in our workforce and practice to build even stronger, more consistent outcomes for children.

Use our “Blackpool Families Rock” practice model to support strengths-based, co-produced plans

Contribute to clear planning that drives progress and reduces drift for children

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two days are the same—and where your work has a direct and lasting impact.
