Contract Type: Fixed term This is a full-time position, working hours is 08:15-16:30, Mondays to Friday, this is an All Year Round (AYR) paid position, worked as term time only plus 10 additional days. The postholder is required to work an additional 45 minutes per day, above the standard 35 hours per week, as well as one week during the school holidays and one further week made up of INSET days, Open Evenings, Parents’ Evenings, Results Days, and similar events. The exact additional days will be agreed with the line manager. This is a great opportunity to come and join our friendly and supportive staff team and work in our highly rated secondary school in central Manchester. We are looking for an organised and confident person who can provide high‑quality pastoral and academic support to Sixth Form students by ensuring safeguarding, promoting positive behaviour, monitoring attendance and progress, supporting post‑16 pathways, liaising with families and staff, and contributing to enrolment, transition, wellbeing initiatives, and enrichment activities to improve student outcomes. Qualifications Required: Numeracy and literacy skills at least equivalent to RQF Level 2; good ICT skills are also desirable;
