These are fixed term posts for one academic year, working full time, 35 hours per week during term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £22,004 and the full time equivalent is £25,583 (Grade 3). The start date for this role is 1st September 2026. You will be part of a team providing exceptional education for students. You will require tact and diplomacy in order to build excellent interpersonal relationships with all stakeholders including colleagues across the school and trust, parents and external agencies. Experience of working with children and/or young people with communication, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable. The right candidate will be committed to professional standards, continuously striving to maintain and enhance their knowledge and skills. A focus on teamwork and driving continuous improvement to support student success is required. Main purpose of the job: As a Teaching Assistant Level 1 (SEN), you will work closely with students requiring individualised support due to complex needs. You will play a key role in enabling access to learning, supporting communication, and promoting independence and well-being. Qualifications Required: Numeracy/literacy skills with a good level of knowledge and understanding (at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2)
