Due to the promotion of our current School Business Manager, Parkfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an exceptional and highly motivated School Business Manager (Level 1) to join our leadership team.

This is a pivotal role within our school. We are looking for someone who will not only manage the operational functions of the school but will also contribute strategically to our continued improvement and success.

About the Role

As School Business Manager, you will play a key strategic and operational role, working closely with the Headteacher and Governing Board to ensure the effective leadership of:

  • Finance and budget management
  • Human resources and staff management
  • Health & safety and risk management
  • Estate and facilities management
  • Administrative systems and school operations

You will lead and manage support staff, oversee the school’s financial processes, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and drive efficiency across all non-teaching functions of the school.

  • Has experience in financial management and budget monitoring

  • Is an excellent communicator, able to work with staff, governors, parents and external agencies
  • Has the confidence and expertise to be part of a senior leadership team
