Blackpool Council is looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our Highways Asset Management Team. This is a career graded role, offering an excellent opportunity to develop from Assistant to Technician level while building a career in highways and asset management. You’ll support the management of highway assets by maintaining digital records, producing GIS/CAD plans, analysing data and contributing to maintenance planning.
• Update and maintain asset data, maps and records
• Produce CAD/GIS drawings and reports
• Support survey data analysis and works programming
• Respond to enquiries and assist with consultations
• Undertake site visits to collect and verify information
• Strong IT, organisational and communication skills
• Experience or interest in GIS, CAD or data analysis
• Relevant qualifications (GCSEs essential; higher-level for Technician)
