Aquinas is a thriving Catholic Sixth Form College in Stockport with over 2400 FTE students. The college wishes to appoint to the following post to start as soon as possible.

British Sign Language Interpreter up to 35 hours per week, term time only (temporary contract up to May 2028) - part time / job share considered to provide high-quality British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing student, ensuring they have full linguistic access to the curriculum, social environment, and extracurricular activities within a Sixth Form setting. You will act as the linguistic bridge between the student, their peers, and academic staff.

Salary £48,665 to £49,831 (£39,198 to £41,137 pro-rata for up to 35 hours per week, term time only) depending on skills, qualifications and experience

The above appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association (SFCA) Support Staff Pay Scale, as specified. Candidates must be innovative, enthusiastic and must meet the appropriate person specification.
