Salary: Grade D (SCP 6 £25,989 - SCP 11 £28,142) with SNA of 32.5hrs
Actual Salary: £20,450 to £22,144 plus SNA of 32.5hrs

We are a vibrant and forward looking school seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to provide support for pupils with ASD and ADHD. The successful candidate will have a positive nurturing approach working with children who have emotional and behavioural differences and challenging behaviour

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience of working with children with EBD and challenging behaviour
• Experience of working with children who have SEN throughout the primary school range
• A caring and professional attitude with an ability to work well within a team
• Enthusiasm, flexibility and a willingness to learn
• A calm and nurturing personality
• An understanding of the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children

Desirable:

• An EBD qualification
• Paediatric First Aid qualification
