Oakfield High School & Aspire College

Salary: Grade 4, £19,243 - £19,995 per annum. £13.26 - £13.90 per hour

32.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

Candidates must have GCSE English and Maths, Grade C or equivalent relevant qualification Proof must be provided.

Some experience of working with children is also desirable and a willingness to undertake a Teaching Assistant qualification.

The Aspire Federation has four sites based in Hindley, Bryn, Abram and Leigh. Whilst the post will initially be based at Oakfield High School or Aspire College, please be advised that the post holder may be required to work across all of the federated sites.

The Role

We are in an exciting position and looking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and resilient Level 2 Teaching Assistants (numerous posts). The successful candidates will have evidence of outstanding classroom practice and be able to develop positive relationships, inspire and motivate, engage and challenge learners to achieve.

Candidates should be willing to operate as part of the staff team supporting the learning, wellbeing and personal development of all learners under the direction of Senior Leaders, Teaching and Pastoral staff. Successful candidates may be expected to work in any phase across school, although it is not essential that they have prior experience of each phase. They will be expected to work with learners within the general classroom setting or by providing individual 1:1/small group support.
