We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and compassionate SENDCo to lead and further develop our SEND provision across school. The successful candidate will join our Senior Leadership Team and play a key role in shaping outstanding inclusive practice and provision for our learners and families. Our SENDCO must model and lead the ‘we can’ culture that permeates throughout our school. We have a highly developed SEND offer, including: We are proud to host a specialist resource base within Thorn Grove Primary School for children with hearing impairment, visual impairment and multi-sensory impairment. This provision is supported by close collaboration with specialist teachers and external professionals to ensure the highest quality of education, tailored support and expert guidance for both pupils and staff. We work in partnership with specialists to embed best practice across school, ensuring that individual needs are accurately assessed and that targeted strategies, adaptations and interventions enable every child to access learning fully and achieve their potential.
