The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support learning across school but primarily in KS2. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can support our team to provide the best pastoral and academic support for our pupils.

Our school prides itself on working collaboratively within and beyond our setting to support each other to achieve the best for the children in our care and we are eager to appoint someone with experience to contribute to this.


The successful candidate will be welcomed into a supportive environment where the Christian values of the school are deeply held.


We require a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Is an experienced practitioner, passionate about providing the best support and reducing barriers for all pupils
  • Values a teamwork approach and is flexible;
  • Has high expectations of all pupils;
  • Is committed to raising pupils’ achievements in learning and social and emotional skills;
  • Has the ability to form positive adult-pupil relationships;
  • Will be supportive of the Christian values of the school and have the ability to create a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for our pupils and families.
  • Will commit to building relationships with parent, carers and the wider community.
  • Has an open-mind to adapt to new approaches.
