Leisure Assistants are responsible for pool discipline and constant vigilance of bather's activities. To keep up to date knowledge of the facilities programme and requirements of a multi-use facility. To ensure that knowledge of products, sales procedures and activities are up to date. To maintain training hours in accordance with National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) guidelines, and to maintain the NPLQ qualification. To be well presented at all times with clean uniform, and a neat and tidy appearance. to view the Job Description. To provide excellent standards of customer service and follow the staff pledge. Complete membership show rounds as and when necessary, with a view to sign up new members. Positively reflect Blackpool Services and Blackpool Council at all times.
Ensure that all equipment is safe for use, available and set out for the customer. To complete accurately all paperwork required on a daily basis. To ensure throughout the day that cleaning and inspection processes are followed and the facility is maintained to a safe and clean level.
Implements and supervises measures devised by the Leisure Operations Manager, Senior Duty Officer, Duty Officer, Assistant Duty Officer, maintaining the security of the premises.
