Every person is welcome at St Matthew’s, a Cranmer Education Trust School. We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has specialist knowledge of School Sport and P.E. The successful candidate will need to lead this area throughout the school. St Matthew’s CE Primary School is a vibrant and highly ambitious two form entry school located in Chadderton, Oldham. - Is committed to personal professional development and supporting the development of a professional learning community within our multi-academy trust.
- Is an excellent practitioner and able to deliver high quality PE / Sport sessions to whole classes
- Can plan and co-ordinate extended school activities
- Understands Schools Sports Premium and can use this to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils
- Is willing to contribute to the school’s success and work hard to achieve this.
- Has strong communication skills to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, parents and governors.
- Is an effective team member with a positive attitude

This position will be based at St. Matthew’s CE Primary but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.
