Castle Hill High School Job Title: Academic Interventions Support We are seeking a committed and skilled Academic Interventions Support Assistant to deliver targeted literacy and numeracy intervention sessions for pupils with SEND. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping learners close gaps, build confidence, and make strong academic progress. Proven experience working with SEND pupils A commitment to learning and delivering structured phonics and numeracy intervention programmes (full training provided) Castle Hill High School is a special school for students, aged 11 18, with significant and complex needs. We currently have 351 students on roll. Our most recent Ofsted inspection, in May 2017, judged the school to be Outstanding. You must have:
GCSE Maths and English at Grade B/6 or above

All students at Castle Hill have Education Health and Care Plans. Students’ specific needs include: communication and social interaction difficulties, cognition and learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder.
We are seeking to appoint a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, this is primarily to support a pupil to support pupils with a range of SEN needs. You should be child-centred in your approach and be able to demonstrate initiative, a willingness to be flexible and the ability to adapt calmly to ever changing situations.
