The Collective Community Trust is a relatively newly formed Trust responsible for seven primary schools. As a Trust we are committed to providing high quality support services to support all of our schools within the Trust.

An exciting opportunity for inspirational teacher posts has arisen at Butterstile Primary School. We are looking for enthusiastic, aspirational, motivated and dedicated individuals to join our caring, committed team of professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to nurturing young minds and making a positive impact on children’s learning and development. You will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning to a class of primary aged children, creating a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.

Butterstile is a vibrant, popular, inclusive and diverse school which is proud of its wonderful children, positive relationships with parents, outdoor learning facilities and aspirational curriculum.

The school was judged Good by Ofsted in May 2023.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing constructive and supportive feedback
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, independence and a love of learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parent/carers to ensure the best outcome for pupils
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events
  • Be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
