We have a new and exciting opportunity to join the Leadership team at Fortalice. We are aiming to recruit a dynamic Community Services Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of our community-based services. The role includes strong leadership of teams and projects, managing the development and implementation of new contracts and building key relationships with partner agencies.

Purpose of the role:

To lead and coordinate our community services, working closely with the Chief Executive and Leadership team to ensure high quality and effective services are consistently delivered. The Community Services Manager will be responsible for providing supervision and strong leadership to community-based teams as well as supporting them to work collaboratively with external organisations, and to manage data collection to ensure that targets from funders are met and sustained.
Whilst maintaining a sound understanding of the casework for the whole team, the role involves quality assuring the one-to-one sessions, group work, written records, data and reporting, evaluations, and evidence base. The role requires experience of monitoring and developing projects, a sound understanding of safeguarding, a basic awareness of the effects of Domestic Abuse and how it can affect mental health, and how to effectively manage relationships.

Key skills:

Emotionally intelligent and able to create positive working relationships within the team, the organisation and the wider community.
The ability to monitor and evaluate services, collect statistics and provide regular reports in respect of progress and outcomes.
Knowledge and experience of assisting with strategic development.
