The successful candidate will be a proactive and supportive practitioner who works effectively with both pupils and staff, contributing positively to our school community. About the role The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, within an agreed system of supervision, to support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will implement agreed learning programmes for individuals and small groups, both in and out of the classroom, and assist teachers with planning, preparation and assessment. The role will also involve providing targeted one-to-one support for a named pupil(s) alongside general classroom support, ensuring pupils can access learning in a structured and supportive environment. You may also be required to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of a teacher, maintaining good order and ensuring pupils remain on task. This role is ideal for candidates with experience of supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs, who are confident in managing behaviour positively and promoting engagement, independence and inclusion.
