Mount Saint Joseph RC High School are currently seeking a Facilities Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

Mount St. Joseph is a Roman Catholic voluntary-aided 1116 comprehensive school under the trusteeship of the Salford Diocese. The school is part of the St Teresa of Calcutta Trust. The school’s Instrument of Government affirms its identity as part of the Catholic Church and its commitment to operating in accordance with Canon Law, the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and the Trust Deed of the Diocese of Salford.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluation of local maintenance works to ensure value for money and a clean, safe site.
  • The designated compliance officer responsible for the effective management of the site including responsibility for compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring the site is maintained to provide an environment that supports excellent teaching and learning
  • Responsible for the line management of the caretaking team
