We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for this vacancy in Adult Social Care, where Hybrid working is in operation.

This interesting role sits within the Social Care Benefits Team and is focused on maximising income collection for both residential and non-residential care debt.

The ability to deal with members of the public, in particular those who are vulnerable in accordance with the Council's approach to debt recovery, which is 'firm but fair' is essential.

You will need to have excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills and will be expected to communicate with clients in writing, over the telephone and through face to face contacts. You must also be able to demonstrate a commitment to customer service, as you will be dealing with complex cases involving clients receiving care services.

The successful applicant will be someone who is able to contribute to new initiatives and is keen to help meet the future demands and challenges facing the service, with the ability to adapt to a variety of work situations within a demanding environment.
