An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Blackpool Council’s Social Care Benefits Team, supporting residents by calculating care contributions for both residential and non-residential services.

This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of the benefits system, excellent numerical accuracy, and a high level of attention to detail. Outstanding communication skills are essential, as you will provide customer-focused support to Blackpool residents over the phone and in writing.

The Social Care Benefits Team sits within Adult Social Care, which is currently on an improvement journey. You will play an important part in this work, contributing to service development and helping shape the future of the service.

We support hybrid working, with time split between Bickerstaffe House and home working.
