The Heys Primary School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA3) to join our hardworking and supportive Key Stage 2 team.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a vibrant, multicultural setting. You will work closely with experienced practitioners to help create a nurturing, stimulating and engaging environment in which every child can thrive.

• Have experience of working within KS2
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering a high-quality KS2 curriculum
• Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
• Engage pupils in purposeful learning activities, indoors and outdoors
• Support children’s communication, language and social development
• Promote independence, resilience and positive behaviour
• Contribute to assessment and recording of children’s progress
• Help maintain an organised and stimulating classroom environment
• Support pupils with additional needs to access learning fully
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Adhere to all school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and ongoing professional development
