Grade: TA2 Grade D SCP 6 - SCP 11 £25,949.00 - £28,142.00 pro rata
Contract: Initially 12-month Fixed Term
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time + 5 Days

The Governors of St Stephen & All Martyrs’ C of E Primary are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is a real team player, to join our committed and effective staff team. The successful candidate will be somebody with the highest expectations, who will focus on securing ambitious aspirations for all our children within a close and supportive team.

We are looking for someone that;

• Has NVQ Level 2, BTEC Level 2 or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

• Has an experience of working within a classroom.
• Is highly motivated and enthusiastic.
• Can support pupils' learning across the primary age range.
• Can work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
• Able to provide targeted support for individuals and groups of pupils.
• Is confident with phonics across EYFS and KS1.
• Is hard working, committed and a dedicated team player.
• Has high expectations of children’s behavior and their achievements.
• Can help to develop an exciting and imaginative learning environment.
• Has a commitment towards collaboration and inclusion.
• Is passionate about developing learners and themselves
• Is a thoughtful person, who can help maintain and develop caring for all those who belong to the community of our school.
• Is either a practicing Christian or a person who is able to promote our Christian values; leading by example.
• Is happy to play a full part in the life of the school.
