Actual Salary pro rata: £4,339 per annum

At New Bridge Learning Centre, we are constantly striving to create the best learning opportunities for every pupil. We aim to provide a specialist, high quality, relevant and balanced education for pupils aged 16-19 who have a range of special educational needs. We also tailor the learning experiences for individual pupils’ social and emotional development. All children and young people at New Bridge have an Education Health and Care Plan.

We are currently seeking resilient, energetic, and highly motivated midday supervisors to join our busy team based at New Bridge Learning Centre. The main duties will be to provide support for students during the lunchtime period which includes putting tables and chairs out and away, cleaning the dining area, supporting pupils with feeding and drinking; supervision; personal care; behaviour management and general housekeeping.

This post is being offered on a part time basis. Hours of work are 1 hour 30 minutes per day, Monday to Friday. The posts will be based initially at New Bridge Learning Centre, Fitton Hill Oldham, however, all staff are employed by the MAT and are expected to work at any site within the New Bridge Group if required.

New Bridge MAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must have a commitment to safeguarding young people. This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and references will be sought prior to interview.

This post will be subject to a number of pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996. It will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here.
