This role is to support Children’s Services
Working pattern: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (up to 24 hours)

  • You will empower managers and colleagues with inclusive, practical advice that helps them thrive.
  • You will collaborate across the wider HR team to deliver impactful solutions for Salford’s residents.
  • You will champion continuous improvement and equip leaders with the tools to lead the Salford Way.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience in a variety of HR casework.
  • Thrives in a varied role and enjoys supporting leaders to shape and deliver their people plans.
  • Communicates with confidence and builds strong, influential relationships.
  • Brings empathy, integrity, and a commitment to inclusion and innovation.
  • Has sound employment law knowledge and can manage complex ER cases with care and clarity.
  • Has experience of working with casework related to Safeguarding would be advantageous
