37 hours per week, term time plus one week working 39 weeks per year

Hours of Work: Mon Thurs: 8.00am 4.00pm / Friday: 8.00am 3.30pm Lunch 30 minutes

Temporary until 31st August 2027

The Governors of St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School are offering a unique opportunity to appoint a Numeracy Intervention Provider to join our Maths Department. The aim of this role is to provide bespoke support plans for individual pupils/small groups and assisting small groups within Maths lessons.

We welcome applications from candidates who possess a Maths qualification ranging from GCSE level up to graduate level; a specialist Maths teacher, a HLTA or Learning Mentor.

It is essential that the successful candidate is an excellent communicator, enthusiastic, conscientious, and understanding of the varying circumstances that occur within a school environment. Although no previous experience of working in a school is essential, the successful candidate must be willing to undergo training as necessary. The ability to work on their own, using their own initiative and as part of a team is a crucial part of this role, along with having resilience and a sense of humour!
