We have a job vacancy for a Level 2 teaching assistant starting on 2nd September 2026 for a 31 hours per week until 21st July 2027. Possibility that it will be extended pending funding.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold the appropriate teaching assistant qualification.
  • Be a role model for the children and display our school values at all times.
  • Have good numeracy & literacy skills.
  • Be able to support groups and individuals to meet their potential.
  • Be encouraging, patient and kind.
  • Be a team player who is punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Understand the importance of building relationships with children.
  • Have effective communication and organisation skills.
  • Have a good understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of children remains the highest priority.
  • Continue to develop in ongoing professional development.
