Welfare Assistant

Grade: 1A

Working Hours: 7.5 hours per week, Term time only

Contract Type: Part time and permanent

The Governors of St Mary’s are looking to appoint a Welfare Assistant to supervise pupils during the midday break either in the school grounds or in the school premise i.e. during the time when pupils are taking their meal or if the pupils are unable to use the school grounds because of inclement weather. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for someone who is committed to our school values.

  • will nurture and care for our children, their learning and well-being
  • Be able to listen, talk and play with children
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • be creative and flexible in your approach to working with children
