Hours: 35 Hours per week 8.30am-4pm
Working Pattern: Monday -Friday Term Time only

Vale View Primary School are seeking to appoint a Clerical Assistant to work as part of a successful administration team and to provide support and advice to our children and families.

The role will involve working with children, families, other staff and a wide variety of people within the school on a daily basis and you will provide administration support to the administration team. The successful candidate will be undertaking various administration tasks including but not limited to: reception duties, dealing with enquiries and hospitality, inputting pupil administration data, and general clerical tasks.
Applicants must have a good general education to GCSE level and have knowledge and experience of working with IT. The post holder must have good organisational and communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, in a confidential environment and have the ability to work on their own initiative as well part of a team.

You will have experience of working in administration
You will have excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills
You will be highly organised, committed, motivated, enthusiastic and flexible

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in partnership and maintain confidentiality with parents, staff and outside agencies
You will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding
