We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our welcoming school community. This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in ensuring a safe, happy, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and classrooms (during wet weather)
  • Support children with eating, including cutting food and encouraging good table manners
  • Promote positive behaviour and lead engaging playground games and activities
  • Ensure pupils’ safety at all times, including in toilets and during transitions
  • Maintain a clean environment by managing spillages and cleaning tables
  • Set up and store play equipment
  • Provide basic first aid and report any accidents or incidents
  • Build positive relationships with children and staff

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who is warm and caring and enjoys working with children
  • A positive and patient approach to working with children
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Awareness of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
  • Ability to take initiative and respond calmly in busy situations
  • Proactive and able to organise and lead simple play activities

Additional Information:

  • Termly paid training meeting with the Headteacher
  • Safeguarding and First Aid training provided (refreshed every three years)
  • Responsibility for play equipment and ensuring first aid resources are maintained
