HLTA

Salary: Grade 6, £20,510 - £22,633 per annum.

30 hours per week, term time plus one week working 39 weeks per year


Playleader

Salary: Grade 4, £1,776 - £1,862 per annum. £13.26 - £13.90 per hour

3 hours per week, term time plus one week working 39 weeks per year

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and highly motivated HLTA to join our dedicated team.

This is a varied and rewarding role which combines whole-school classroom cover, specialist computing curriculum teaching and three sessions within our before and after school provision.

The successful candidate will:

Provide high-quality classroom cover across Nursery to Year 6.

Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons to pupils from Year 2 to Year 6.

Support the development and implementation of the school's Computing curriculum.

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to class teachers and school leaders.

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs and barriers to learning.

Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for learning.

Support engaging activities within our before and after school Kidz Klub provision for three sessions per week.

We are looking for someone who:

Meets Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards/equivalent qualification.

Has strong classroom management skills.

Has experience of planning and delivering lessons to whole classes.

Has confidence in teaching Computing across the primary age range.

Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child can succeed.

Can work flexibly across different year groups and phases.

Can support our school’s Christian values and ethos.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious practitioner to take a leading role in delivering Computing across the school while gaining valuable experience teaching across the primary age range. The successful candidate will have opportunities to plan, teach and assess learning across multiple year groups, develop their subject expertise, and work closely with senior leaders to further enhance the school's Computing provision. Flexibility is essential;-

The hours of work will initially be;

Monday 8.45am to 3.15pm (HLTA) 30-minute lunch

Tuesday 8.45am to 3.15pm (HLTA) 30-minute lunch and 7.45-8.45am (Play Leader)

Wednesday 8.45am to 3.15pm (HLTA) 30-minute lunch

Thursday 8.45am to 3.15pm (HLTA) 30-minute lunch and 7.45-8.45am (Play Leader)

Friday 8.45am to 3.15pm (HLTA) 30-minute lunch and 7.45-8.45am (Play Leader)
