Level 3 Teaching Assistant Woodhouses VC Primary School

Location: The role will be based at: Woodhouses VC Primary School, ashton Road, Woodhouses, Failsworth, M35 9WL

Salary: £28,598 - £31,.022 (full time full year equivalent)

Actual Salary: £21,127 - £22,918 per annum (Grade 4)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - Term Time

Working Hours: 32.5 per week term time + 5 days

Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)

Closing Date: Monday 6 July 2026 - 9am.

Interviews: Friday 10 July at the school. Applicants will be notified after shortlisting has taken place.

You will need:

• Recent relevant experience of classroom support at primary level
• A good understanding of interventions to support children working below age expectations including phonics interventions
• A good understanding of children who have social and emotional issues
• A positive, calm and supportive nature To be prepared to support personal care.
• To have knowledge and understanding of how children develop communication, interaction and language skills
• The ability to be flexible and self-motivated
• To be able to work well as part of a team
• To be able to foster good relationships with parents
