Location: The role will be based at: St Martins Primary School, Fitton Hill, Oldham OL8 2PY

Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 (full time full year equivalent)

Actual Salary: £21,127 - £22,918 per annum (Grade 4)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - Term Time

Working Hours: 32.5 per week term time + 5 days

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: Thursday 2 July 2026 - 9am.

Interviews: Wednesday 8 July 2026 at the school. Applicants will be notified after shortlisting has taken place.

The Governing Body wish to appoint two Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join this happy, nurturing school family to support our children in their learning and in developing our young people into independent learners, who possess the knowledge and skills to engage positively with the world around them.

You will need:

• Recent relevant experience of classroom support at primary level
• A good understanding of interventions to support children working below age expectations including phonics interventions
• A good understanding of children who have social and emotional issues
• A positive, calm and supportive nature
• To be prepared to support personal care.
• To have knowledge and understanding of how children develop communication, interaction and language skills.
• The ability to be flexible and self-motivated
• To be able to work well as part of a team
• To be able to foster good relationships with parents
