Role: HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT

Required from Tuesday 1^st September 2026

Salary: TA4 - 30 hours per week term time plus 1 week

Contract Type: Permanent

The Governors at Claypool wish to invite candidates to apply for the post of Full Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has the confidence, experience and skills to supervise whole classes to cover teachers’ PPA time and other absence as necessary;
• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar;
• Enjoys working with children;
• Has experience of working with children at KS1 and/or KS2;
• Has good communication skills;
• Is caring, patient and flexible;
• Is energetic and enthusiastic;
• Is keen to join our hardworking, committed and friendly team;
