We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who brings energy, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to promoting pupil wellbeing and inclusion.

Cravenwood Primary Academy, part of the United Learning Trust, is a large, vibrant school situated in North Manchester, serving children aged 3 to 11. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • Has experience providing personal care where required.
  • Demonstrates high expectations for all learners, promoting achievement and inclusion.
  • Understands a range of additional needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language).
  • Is committed to supporting the delivery of EHCPs and individual support plans.
  • Is committed to promoting pupils’ emotional, social and mental wellbeing.
  • Demonstrates a compassionate, flexible, and resilient approach, within a busy school environment.
  • Build strong relationships and communicates professionally with pupils, families, and staff.
  • Works collaboratively as part of a team, including external professionals to provide targeted support.
  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Has GCSEs Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent);
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Is enthusiastic about contributing to the life of the wider school community.
  • Has strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
