We are looking to appoint an energetic and engaging Learning Support Assistant to work alongside children with special educational needs.

Chorlton Park is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust.


We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

  • Is passionate about teaching and learning and believes in developing the true potential of all of our children
  • Can work with small groups of children under the supervision of the teacher including the implementation of Education and Health Care Plans and Individual Education Plans
  • Can demonstrate good understanding of meeting the needs of children with SEN
  • Can nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils
  • Has a working knowledge of how children develop and can provide modelling and scaffolding to support the child’s interactions and learning
  • Has good behaviour management skills and can implement clear boundaries and routines
  • Can develop good home/school links.
