Salary: £29,064 per annum
 
 
We are looking for an enthusiastic HLTA with a positive outlook to provide general classroom support and prepare and deliver lessons to groups and whole classes in the planned absence of the teacher, for example to cover PPA or leadership duties.
 
The post holder will work under the supervision and direction of class teachers,working with individual pupils, small groups and the whole class. 

We are looking for someone who:
 
  • Has relevant HLTA or equivalent qualifications or is committed to undertake a qualification
  • Can work collaboratively with and assist teachers in the curriculum planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources
  • Is able to cover classes across the school
  • Can demonstrate a high degree of initiative when working with children
  • Has high expectations of children’s behaviour
  • Has the enthusiasm, skill and desire to make a difference
