This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to join Blackpool Council in the new AdvertiseBlackpool department in the new role of Administration and Events Support Officer. With a demonstrable background in administrative duties within a vibrant, and possibly sales, environment, you will have a varied role supporting both the advertising sales team with reporting, customer liaison, invoicing and general admin, plus the unique opportunity to be working alongside our Council Events Governance Officer to assist with our many events applications and meetings. Based at the new AdvertiseBlackpool office in Blackpool centre, this position will also work closely with our printing company, PrintBlackpool. This role is full time with some hybrid flexibility, 26 days holiday, Government pension scheme and many other Council employee benefits. to view the Job Description. This post requires access to PSN (Public Services Network) services or networks and the successful post holder will be required to undertake a Basic Disclosure check of unspent convictions through Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). This post is also subject to satisfactory references, medical clearance, evidence of any essential qualifications and proof of legal working in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
