Vantage CE Academies Trust is seeking an exceptional leader to take on a pivotal, high-profile role as Head of Safeguarding, Attendance, Behaviour & Culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Learning and Partnerships Officer, you will provide strategic leadership across safeguarding, attendance and behaviour.

You will:

  • Lead and continuously develop Trust-wide safeguarding systems as the Lead DSL
  • Drive improvements in attendance, removing barriers and ensuring every child is engaged in learning
  • Shape a consistent, inclusive and high-expectation behaviour and culture strategy
  • Provide expert guidance, challenge and support to senior leaders across all academies
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families and external agencies to secure positive outcomes

This role is central to ensuring our Trust provides safe, calm and purposeful environments where every pupil can succeed.

  • Has a strong track record in safeguarding leadership and compliance
  • Has demonstrable impact on attendance, behaviour and pupil outcomes
  • Can lead strategically across multiple schools or systems
  • Is confident using data and intelligence to drive improvement
  • Builds strong relationships and works effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Is values-driven and committed to inclusive practice and pupil wellbeing
