Safeguarding & School Attendance Adviser

£31,000-£35,000 Pro Rata

  • Starting salary within the range of £31,000-£35,000 Pro Rata dependant on skills and experience
  • Permanent, 41 weeks per year (Term time + 2 weeks) 35 hours per week

Based in Manchester, One Education is one of the largest education support companies in England. An opportunity has arisen for an Adviser within the School Attendance & Safeguarding Team to begin from 1st September 2026.

We support Schools, Academies and Local Authorities in Greater Manchester and the North West with school attendance and safeguarding. The work is challenging, varied and diverse and we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality service to support establishments in prioritising the wellbeing and safety of children. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our highly skilled School Attendance and Safeguarding Team. You must have experience in promoting safeguarding in schools and supporting attendance, and will preferably understand the day-to-day procedures which must be undertaken, as well as awareness of appropriate systems. We are looking for someone with drive and self-motivation with knowledge and experience of working with families. If you feel that you have the ability to provide a consistently high quality of work whilst meeting a variety of challenges, then we’d love to hear from you.

This is an excellent opportunity, as the successful candidate will receive training opportunities as well as the chance to develop and deliver training courses for face to face and online delivery. This will extend your skills base as well as promote career development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate the ability to work across multiple sites.
