Salary: Scale 2 Point 3, £12.85 per hour (pro rata £5,015.62 pa)
Hours of work: Part Time - 8.75 hours per week @ £12.85 per hour
Working Pattern: Term time only
Contract Type: Temporary - 1 year

The Governing Body of Cheadle Catholic Junior School are seeking to appoint a motivated Midday Assistant to support our school lunchtime operation. We are a happy, friendly school with a strong Catholic ethos and a passionate school community that includes our dedicated staff, parents, and parish family. Our children are enthusiastic, motivated, and love coming to school.

The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and flexible individual who enjoys working with children and has excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children with hygiene in preparation for their lunch.
• Supervising children whilst they eat their dinner.
• Supervising, interacting, and promoting positive play with children on the playground.
• Managing a class during wet playtimes within their classroom environment.
