Roseacre Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, and help us deliver an outstanding education to our students. We are a vibrant, inclusive and forward-thinking school located in Blackpool.

As a HLTA at Roseacre Primary Academy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our teaching staff, leading targeted interventions and providing covering across all year groups. The successful candidate will:

  1. Confidently deliver planned lessons across school to cover absences as required.
  2. Plan and lead targeted interventions to small groups for students requiring additional support.
  3. Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to adapt planning and resources to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.

We are looking to appoint a HLTA who is:

  1. Proactive, resilient, and caring professional who thrives in a bustling school environment.
  2. Flexible with the ability to adapt and accommodate changes.
  3. An inclusive mindset with a genuine commitment to supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
  4. Achieved HLTA status or equivalent Level 4 qualification.
  5. Proven experience leading whole-class teaching and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
  6. ECTs seeking to gain further experience within a classroom environment.
  7. A strong team player who is passionate about teaching and learning.
