Salary Grade: Grade H P27-31(FTE £38220-£41771) Actual Salary £33,570 - £36,689 per annum

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Hours: 37 Hours Term Time plus 2 weeks

Start Date: 1st September 2026 (or to be agreed if required)

Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking an exceptional School Business Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team at Blackrod Primary School.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, forward-thinking and highly motivated professional who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work in close partnership with the Headteacher, Governors and staff to ensure the effective leadership, management and development of all non-teaching functions across the school.

We are looking for an individual who can see the bigger picture whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across finance, human resources, premises management, health and safety, administration, compliance and operational systems. They will be committed to securing the best possible outcomes for our pupils by ensuring that resources are managed efficiently, sustainably and in line with the school's vision and priorities.

The ideal candidate will be a leader with strong financial acumen, excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to manage complex projects, drive improvement and influence decision-making. They will be able to lead and develop teams effectively, build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and identify innovative solutions that deliver value for money whilst supporting continued school improvement.
