The Role
This isn't your average, quiet desk job. As our Admin Manager, you will be the heart of a fast-paced, multi-tasking office team. On any given day, you might be balancing complex transport schedules for our students, managing a bustling reception desk, overseeing the school's data and compliance systems, and supporting the Senior Leadership Teamoften all at once!
You will support a small, dedicated administrative team, ensuring that despite the high-energy, fast-changing environment, our operational systems remain robust, secure, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Inspire: Manage and develop our school administrative and reception team, fostering a calm, efficient, and positive working environment.
Multitask: Oversee daily office operations, multi-tasking seamlessly between answering parental queries, handling urgent compliance tasks, and managing relationships.
Complex Coordination: Work closely with local authorities, transport providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate the intricate logistics required for our complex needs students.

Financial Support: Assist with basic budgetary tracking, ordering resources, and processing invoices.
We need someone who is proactive, well organised and calm, even in the busiest of situations. You don't necessarily need to have worked in a special school before, but you must possess the resilience, agility, and empathy required to thrive in one.
You will be perfect for this role if you have:
Exceptional Multi-Tasking Skills: The proven ability to juggle competing priorities without losing your smile or your attention to detail.
Leadership Experience: Track record of managing, motivating, and organizing an administrative team.

Unwavering Discretion: A deep understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality boundaries within an educational setting.
Experience in school administration, systems and procedures is a distinct advantage.
