We are looking for candidates to support our SEN pupils in mainly Key Stage 2 and our Communication, Language and Interaction Resourced Provision of our forward-looking, diverse and vibrant school. All candidates should show a commitment to engaging with professional development and an understanding of the need to follow the directions of the class teacher in order to ensure a high quality education for our pupils. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to successfully implementing the school's curriculum with any adaptations for our pupils with SEN needs and intervention programmes to a high standard. The children the successful candidate works with will have an EHCP. As well as being able to work effectively as part of a team, they need to be able to show initiative and be able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of our pupils. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in order to provide accurate feedback to the class teacher. Ashbury Meadow Primary School is a two form entry primary school with a Nursery and Resourced Provision located in Beswick, close to the city centre of Manchester and in very close proximity to the Etihad stadium. We are a vibrant and multicultural school community with 460 pupils currently on role. We have a very engaged and positive team of staff who want to ensure that our educational offer meets the needs of all of our pupils and enables them all to reach their full potential.
