About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our Direct Payments Team within Adult Social Care.

As a Case Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who choose to use Direct Payments for their care needs. You will work as part of a supportive team, helping clients manage their packages effectively and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within the team and independently, using your own initiative.
• Communicate effectively to guide and support current and prospective users on recruitment and employment matters.
• Monitor, support, advise, and assist users in managing their Direct Payments packages and finances.
• Review and examine financial records and other documentation held by Direct Payments recipients, maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Excel (experience essential).
• Conduct home visits and build strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Promote and raise awareness of Direct Payments while contributing to service development.
• Keep up-to-date with employment issues and agency provisions.
