About the Role

As our Maths with Science Lead, you will provide strategic leadership for mathematics and science across the school, ensuring that every pupil experiences engaging, purposeful and appropriately challenging learning. You will play a key role in developing and delivering our innovative curriculum across our three learning pathways:

  • Aspire GCSE-focused academic learning
  • Thrive A blend of academic and vocational opportunities
  • Nurture Therapeutic, engagement-led and skills-based learning

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will champion high-quality teaching, support colleagues through coaching and professional development, and ensure that our curriculum enables every learner to achieve success, regardless of their starting point. Our approach is firmly rooted in trauma-informed practice and the PACE principles of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy, creating safe, nurturing environments where pupils can flourish.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in mathematics and/or science.
  • Has experience teaching across KS2KS4.
  • Is passionate about raising achievement for pupils with additional needs.
  • Understands, or is eager to develop expertise in, trauma-informed and relational practice.
  • Can inspire both pupils and colleagues through high-quality teaching and leadership.
  • Has experience of curriculum development or is ready to take on a leadership role.
  • Believes in inclusion, high expectations and the potential of every young person.
