Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37 per week Salary: NJC Grade F SCP 19-24 £32,061 - £35,412 per annum Closing Date: Wednesday 29th July 2026 at 23:59 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Case Assessor to join our Learning Disability Team, based at Bickerstaffe House. This role is ideal for someone with experience in adult social care who is committed to delivering high quality, person centred support for people with learning disabilities. The successful post holder will primarily be responsible for completing Care Act reviews for adults with a learning disability. You will work with individuals, carers, providers and partner agencies to ensure care and support plans remain appropriate, outcomes focused and proportionate to need utilising a strengths based approach. You will manage a caseload, ensuring reviews are completed in a timely manner and in line with the Care Act 2014. You will identify changes in need, recommend adjustments to support packages where appropriate and contribute to effective care planning. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a good understanding of the Care Act, and experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
