We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Practitioner to join our thriving Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey and develop the skills, confidence, and curiosity that will help them succeed throughout their time at school.

As an EYFS Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment for all children

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging play and learning activities.
  • Establishing positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Supporting children with additional needs, including providing one-to-one and small group interventions where required.
  • Promoting inclusion, safeguarding and equal opportunities for all children.
  • Assisting with the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
  • Monitoring and recording children's progress and achievements.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children's social and emotional development.
  • Providing feedback to parents and carers on children's progress under the guidance of the Lead Practitioner

The successful candidate would:

  • Hold a full and relevant Level 2 qualification (or above) in Early Years, Childcare or Play work, or an appropriate Early Years Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Has experience working with children aged 0-5 years with a range of learning needs.
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
  • Is patient, caring, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
  • Understanding of health and safety, child development and relevant educational policies.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
