(Controlled) Primary School Before & After School Club Supervisor Grade: 3 (SCP 6-11) Working Hours: 16.5 per week Mon-Friday 7.30am-9am Mon to Thursday 3.30-5.30pm Friday 3.30-4.30pm Contract: Initially for one year with a view to extend , term-time only. Based at: Thornham St. James C.E (Controlled) Primary School, Castleton Road, Royton, Oldham OL2 6XT Closing Date: Wednesday 5 August 2026 Interview Date: Tuesday 11 August 2026 About Us: About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic play worker with a NVQ level 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification to join our well-established team. This role will involve supporting children in the Before and After school club, supervising and joining in their play. The successful post holder will be responsible for the day to day running of the club and act as named person for safeguarding and first aid. The successful candidates will: Duties will include planning activities, maintaining records and implementing policies, providing snacks and drinks for children, liaising with parents and joining in with children’s play. This is an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic school and to be part of its future developments. The above post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and pre-employment check and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
