We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Deputy Team Manager role. This role would ideally suit an experienced Social Worker who is aware and operating at the level of H2 and who is seeking experience and knowledge to develop in their career pathway.

The role will challenge you in terms of its pace, variety and level of crisis intervention work.  It will also seek out your ability to manage complex case work whilst supporting the development of new staff and new ways of working.  With the roll out of the integration agenda and the introduction of new practice models you will need to be accepting of change and able to motivate and encourage staff to embrace change.

Please consider if you are able to work at pace, if you are an excellent communicator and negotiator prior to considering this role.  You will also need to be experienced in working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary setting in securing best possible outcomes for people.  We provide good support to staff and can offer you the same support from a management perspective to help you gain in confidence and experience.

Blackpool Council offer:
• A competitive salary offer for successful candidates who are recruited from the same or similar role may be eligible for a salary match within the above salary banding.
