Purpose of the role

To deal with all member enquiries in a friendly, efficient and effective manner in order to provide the best possible customer service, and to assist with general administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Key responsibilities

  1. Deal with member enquiries over the telephone, and digitally in a polite and friendly manner ensuring good communication and first-class customer service.
  2. Respond to member communications, or pass them to the relevant person efficiently and speedily.
  3. Accurately complete member transactions in order to provide the highest quality service at all times.
  4. Process new members in line with our policy and procedures.
  5. Update existing member records ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
  6. Support members to get set up on our mobile app.
  7. To assist the Loans Officers with the administration of Loan applications.
  8. Ensure member records are filed accurately, efficiently and timely.
  9. Assist with mailings and marketing projects as and when required to support others in the team.
  10. Be first in line to deal with member complaints in line with the Complaints Policy.
  11. Maintain the values, ethics & service levels of the Credit Union at all times.
